I'm still pending resubscription to the group, so I can't yet see
any of the messages. Hopefully the subscription will be approved soon

In any case, yes. Next week I'm going to go over and try to
compile a list of projects from the last few years that haven't yet
been completed, and for which there is (a) still a need, and (b)
someone willing (and qualified) to serve as mentor. The mirror
management system is one which I think is a more viable and necessary
project now than ever before, thanks to numerous changes and a
clarifying path for development and feature additions (thanks largely
in immediate history to Ferenc Kovacs keeping up on things while I was
battling the flu or pneumonia or the plague or whatever it was).
Sometime next week or the week after (hopefully right around one
month before the 18 March application opening date) I'll send out the
announcement to Internals to gather some ideas and gauge interest.
Last year, Adam and I found that no one was really enthusiastic about
serving as a mentor, so it stagnated before we ever got off the
ground. This year, particularly with new blood and folks really
finding their groove within the project as a whole, I think we'll have
some more interest.
