Folks,

Michelle Sanver (aka geekie, of PHPWomen) has been trying to sign up to the
list but she hasn't been able to for some reason, but she wanted me to let
people know on her behalf that Joind.in are actually making efforts to be
more UG-friendly by implementing recurring events... she says:

Hi everyone,
Just thought I’d chip in with my ideas regarding joind.in, I know there has
been talk about recurring events for some time:
https://github.com/joindin/joind.in/wiki/Recurring-events-plan
https://joindin.jira.com/browse/JOINDIN-234
Getting this into joind.in would probably mean a lot, seeing joind.in as
more of a defacto standard for everything UG _AND_ conference related would
be SO cool.
Hugs,
Michelle Sanver

That seems like a pretty good idea to me! :)

Agreed Adam, I think that rings true with other sentiments I have heard
that Meetup works great in US, but not elsewhere.

Cheers
James
