I DO have an account with wiki.php.net ....

You need to stop these speculations, they are such a waste of time.
And the simple mistake I made because I was trying to do three things at once is I tried to post a reply on the developers tab ... which IS populated with the some login details by MY browser, which since I do not have another php.net account would have to have been from the wiki one? Which may simply be Seamonkey going wrong ...

The link to the mailinglists is a link to the developers tab, as the
people clicking the link are the one who need to respond to the
ticket.
I am trying to follow the rules, but even things like remembering to do a 'reply to list' get missed from time to time. When I see a comment like 'If you don't have a Git account, you can't do anything here.' it can be miss read as well ... I have many 'git' accounts ... some for PHP related code ... so it's not immediately obvious, and I did not read it initially as I was expecting to log in ...
