Keep ".headline", it's a good non-styling improvement.

Take a look at the "Conferences call for papers" section it was out of
control with "3rem", can you explain why such an unncessary amount of line
height is used there? perhaps it's affecting other pages that I haven't
noticed?

I gave the site a good review and it didn't appear to break anything.
