Does it have some sort of profiling capabilities? A timeline of what it is doing when fetching the resources would be great, along with any other data you can provide. Doesn't matter if the page is short or long. Even if you just click the "back" button, you will get at least a 5 second hang. Even if JavaScript is disabled! It's the style sheet causing such a massive delay. Granted, I am using an old machine - a Power Mac G5, with Safari 5.0.6, but it makes the site unbearable to use, especially the docs.
