What would that resolve?

We average about 1 commit a week and running the website locally
should be relatively trivial these days using the provided .router.php

This test branch will become unmaintained very fast and confusing.

In any even, we sort-of already have this with http://docs.php.net/
for the docs but I'm not sure how you want this for the website?
