[PHP-WEBMASTER] Sanitize problem

I am attempting to use your *|FILTER_SANITIZE_EMAIL|*|and it removes all 
other characters than |/!#$%&'*+-=?^_`{|}~@.[]/. The problem is in our 
company many people have some-n...@company.com this "-" is removed and 
then is no longer a valid email. I am now unable to use this service for 
emails.
