Good call, Kalle. Another alternative is https://lxr.room11.org/ which is
(currently) actively maintained.

Since lxr is down again again again, I'm gonna close this one, alternatively

When using lxr.php.net, some of the responses are coming back with Java heap
space errors.
Test script:

Visiting http://lxr.php.net/search?q=nocvsdir&project=PHP-MASTER seems to
consistently hit the error, which reads:
"There was an error!
Java heap space
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space"
Expected result:
----------------
Search results.
Actual result:
--------------
Error page.
