I had to reinstall sp3 on my XP machine and now it takes at least 4 minutes
to display the logon screen and about the same time to shutdown the
computer.

I have the following key
HKLM\System\CurrenControlSet\Control\WaitToKillServiceTimeout set to "170"
for the shutdown and
HKLM\System\CurrenControlSet\Control\SessionManager\MemoryManagement\ClearPageFileAtShutdown

set to "0" before I reinstalled sp3.

I just re-checked thos keys and they are still the same. anyone else having
the same issue?

Javier
