Running 4.0.5 here, but session_destroy works just fine. Only thing
you need to do is to first initiate the session, with session_start,
probably you also want to empty up those vars with session_unset, and
the conclude the whole thing with session_destroy:
session_start();
session_unset();
session_destroy();
Works like a charm... :)
