I use the GET call to pass URL parameters to a remote script that executes. So it is a form of a RPC.
local script: header( "location:http://remote_script.php?foo=bar";) The remote script is with my ISP; it is a way for me to program scheduled tasks on a shared server at my ISP (obviously I do not have access to task scheduling there) It works well without a proxy, but now I am looking for a way to do the same through a proxy.
