Fledgeling Web Development house Stop That Astronaut! (www.stopthatastronaut.com
- website's not too special yet, but we'll get around to it) is seeking talent.
We're putting people on file to contact when we have need. It can't hurt to
register your interest - even if we don't employ you directly, we have friends
and clients who sometimes ask us for good footsoldiers in the war against
incompetent web development.
We want to collect details of WEB PROFESSIONALS available for freelance work;
soon there'll be a web-based interface to collect the data, but for now we need
some people on file, and email will do fine.
Ideally you'll be based in Sydney, very competent at whatever you do, and very
reliable (reliably contactable, and dependable working to sometimes very tight
deadlines). If you're not in Sydney, you better be contactable when we need you
(IM / MSN / ICQ / skype / email).
You'll also need:
* Your own workstation, software & whatever else you need to get
your job done, preferably with boadband internet. We don't
have a desk for you yet.
* Good communication skills & general lack of dullwittedness.
* Professional attitude (and experience) and the ability to get things
done dependably
without supervision.
* A high degree of competence in your chosen field. Fauxtards need not
apply.
