Check the query_string on submission and change the GET link on the
column header to the opposite value.
i.e.
echo '<a href="index.php?sortBy=ORDER_ID&sortOrder=';
echo $_GET['sortOrder'] == 'ASC' ? 'DESC">' : 'ASC">';
echo 'ORDER ID</a>';
This will flip your link between ASC and DESC when clicked. Tested and
working.
