I'm with you on this one, Jeromie.  I too have had situations before where
a line-break in the wrong place causes some havoc, but I've never had to
resort to puting all my code on one line to fix it.  I suspect in this
case that what may be happening is that the line breaks were just in
places that caused problems going back and forth between different
platforms.  I wonder... does the page containing the initial form have the
character set named?
