Hi guys, i'm a noob here and in php-mysql.
I'm creating a database to run a fantasy soccer league, right now i've this
tables:

SeasonNames obviously season name
-Seas.ID
-Seas.Name

Opponents teams involved in each season
-Opp.ID
-Opp.Seas.ID
-Opp.Name

Players players
-Play.ID
-Play.Name
-Play.Opp.ID
-Play.Profile
-Play.Pos.ID

And here i've the first problem, each player can be part of different teams
in different seasons, do u think this would be a problem with this
table/columns construction?should i put another column in 'players' like
PlayersSeasonID?Or u think i can get it with a join?Cause for what i
understood, if i put that column in players table i'll have every player
duplicated for each season, am i right?

Positions players' role
P.Pos.ID
P.Pos.Name

And here is the big problem:
Matches
-MatchId
-MatchSeasonID
-MatchDate

i've 8 teams playing 28 matches a season, every match is played by at least
22 players, 11 per team. Each playing player will get a mark, have the chance
to get a card or score a goal. How can i put that into a database?
I thought something like:

Events
-Play.ID
-SeasID
-Match Date
-Mark

But this would become a huge table obviously.Anyone has any idea on how to
make this working?or if this can be the right solution?Any Idea and thought
is welcomed^^
Sorry to bother u for so long and for my imperfect english.
