I'm a newbie with Apache 2; I want to install it so that I can then setup phpMyAdmin and then connect to my site's server and DB.
Right now, I'm having trouble getting Apache to fire up on my desktop computer. I have downloaded and installed Apache to my Program Files at C:\Program Files\Apache2, but when I go to the Start menu, and click on Control Apache Server| Start, I get a message saying:The system cannot find the specified file: No installed service named Apache2. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to do some system configuration for Apache first before starting it? If so, what? Thank you. ------------------------ Yahoo!
