Okay, okay, now that we've all gotten out the rulers and pulled down  
the zippers, I'll remind you that this is a SERVER problem, not a  
"general office" problem. I'm glad your "Office Herd" (sheep, no  
doubt) are warm and fuzzy, but that has nothing to do with the  
problem you presented.

I told you a simple way to solve the problem that involved putting  
one line in one file, and instead, you reinstalled a previous version.

People who make such choices will continue to enjoy my derision -- no  
matter how many years they've been shotgunning problems instead of  
solving them. If you're afraid to "Donk around" with a simple text  
editor, you shouldn't be messing around with MySQL server software.

Here's a nickel, kid. Go get yourself a better IT department.
