Gerry,
        Not quite.... if you put a button on your portal and invited  
the user to click on it, and when they did it showed them the current  
time. After they then finished the rest of the form and clicked on  
submit it would write all the data (including the time created with  
the button) to a mysql database.

I currently have a form which I have created which allows them to  
input time as text... and it is then saved to the database. I want to  
remove that and have them click on a button and have the time filled  
in the field for them.

Can you help me an further please..
