I know there will always be a time/space tradeoff. When I
said "efficiency" I sort of meant that I want to understand the issues
for both time savings and space savings.
With 100 fields, the table I have now seems a little big (at least
compared to the other learning applications I've been messing around
with). I just want to make sure that I don't go off and build this
huge thing only to figure out in a few months that it was really dumb
to have such a large number of fields...
