You might browse over the courses offered directly through MySQL.
They won't cover as much PHP, but you'll learn a lot about the
database.  I've also taken courses at New Horizons, which here in
Kansas City at least are pretty good.  Otherwise, it's reading books
and online tutorials.  You might try the library in your area for
programming books, too.
