I'm trying to create an overview page that will show all of the columns from a
particular
MySQL row. However, as some of the columns can get long, I'd like to be able to
limit the
amount of text displayed on the overview page to about 1000 characters and have
a "more"
link on the end that would bring the user to a detail page.
How would I limit the number of characters displayed?
