I have now written a script to backup my databases, almost exactly as I
want them. I just need to fix up one thing - I am getting
/*!40101 SET @OLD_CHARACTER_SET_CLIENT=@@CHARACTER_SET_CLIENT */;
/*!40101 SET @OLD_CHARACTER_SET_RESULTS=@@CHARACTER_SET_RESULTS */;
/*!40101 SET @OLD_COLLATION_CONNECTION=@@COLLATION_CONNECTION */;
and
/*!40000 ALTER TABLE `articles` DISABLE KEYS */;
in the SQL script output.
At least one version of MySQL that I am using doesn't like that, I don't
think that it recognises /* as a comment.
Presumably there is a mysqlbackup command somewhere to leave these out,
but I can't find it. Does anyone know what it is?
