I love your enthusiasm for the LAMP stack, but the LAMP stack will
serve Word documents, Flash, and PDFs all day long. You're talking
about apples and oranges. However, I believe there are open source
programs to use and generate each. I know OpenOffice works with .doc
files in most cases, will also do .xls & .ppt, I use the open source
progs FPDF & FPDI to generate PDFs in the web apps I write, I think
there are open source viewers for PDFs (names?), and I think GIMP will
create Flash files, won't it? Maybe some other people can help me out
on open source creation / viewing progs for these formats?
