Hi all,

I did finally get it to work -- sort of. Instead of using AES_, I
used DES_ and everything worked fine. I did a little more digging and
found that DES_ is used when MySQL is set up with SSL. When on the
account section for the site, it's https://, so that must be it. But
my question now is, what is the difference between AES and DES?
