Hello All, I am wondering if there is any one on here that could help me with my issue:
What I am trying to do is take data from one table gets put into a form, once its in the form, file in missing information then once click on insert then it needs to insert it over a number of other tables. Some of the names in the other tables are different as I am going from a rawdata table (meaning setup from how the file that was upload to it was) to tables with field names the way I want them. Now I think I can do this by querying the rawdata table (tble 1) put it in the form then once the insert button is pressed it loads the processing script this script will then take all the form var and change them to short var ($_POST['fname'] to $fname) once I have data in var I take that and break var into groups and run a insert on each group of var once each group has been inserted then I would do a drop of the rawdata tble of the one that was just inserted into the other forms by using its id field Does this sound right or is there a better way of doing this?
