03282008 0744 GMT-6 Port 1863 is the msnp (Microsoft Notification Protocol) port. Im not sure what exactly your email extractor program does but, if the program itself needs a specific port, access the configuration files and change the port it uses. Secondly, (and again I dont know what you are doing so I have to guess here), write a php script to get the data that you need and place it in a file and tell and then let the program do what it needs to do from there. Most hosting companies have ports closed to servers for security reasons. Any port that can be used to gain access is closed. Any port that might run up their bandwidth is also closed. Wade
