Unfortunately the particular widget is not under active development. Very little development have taken place over the last three years.

The problem with the widget is that when using clicking to select/deselect items the click sometimes doesn't register as a click but as a drag instead. The reason is that when you click and while the mouse button is down the mouse pointer moves even just 1 pixel then the click is not registered. When using a sensitive mouse this is quite frustrating.
