the strange thing: other help files (default/and not default) work fine, this prob. occurs only with this specific .chm maybe i should have mentioned that...
and no, i havent installed any external, 3rd party, odd andor strange versions of htmhelp. but i can try to copy from a freshly installed w2k machine its hh.exe, is there any other lib or bin which i might have to replace? tnx, t.
