just splitting up the funcref part into several parts is not the way
to go IMHO


we've (well, at least Jouni and me) already played with this a bit,
but have come to the conclusion that the DocBook3 DTD does not allow
a useable subgrouping of references :(

i'm right now playing around with this in the experimental DocBook4
branch in CVS. DocBook4 is still not perfect in this case, but will
allow to have unlimited levels of subgroups of references with using
only slight magic instead

i'll commit into the docbook4 branch and provide a testsite with
html created from it as soon as i have my conversion stylesheet
changes working
