it isn't the squid cache, the notes are no longer pulled directly from the database. all mirrors get notes updated only as often as the update from the master mirror site. (which for www.php.net, means every 15-30 minutes or so.) but kenneth's edit of the note was wrong anyway, so i removed it. 'static $var = (function($arg));' is no more valid than 'static $var = function($arg);' jim
