From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Operating system: Win32 PHP version: 4.0CVS-2002-02-27 PHP Bug Type: Documentation problem Bug description: Build instructions for Win32 incomplete
The documentation for building PHP on Win32 is good, except for the Cygwin part. By default, Cygwin doesn't install bison and flex, which are needed to build php. Bison and flex have to be added explicitly to the default Cygwin installation. Because the resulting errors are quite confusing, this info should be added to the documentation. One more point: PHP also compiles with vc++7.
