Hi Mark,

that's simply not true. Jeroen implemented them 1 year ago into the 
EN-files (EN!) as a basis for the revcheck-system (compares them with 
the revcheck-tag in the transl. files).

Just slowly, some people which didn't understand the system (why they 
are in the en-files, and so maybe copied them, instead of being able to 
change it to a revcheck-tag), introduced also such tags in some de-files.

If there is no real reason or functionality (and if, I'd like to know) 
behind and you just want a straight line, delete them all, so that 
hopefully others or newbies have a chance to understand the system, if 
the howto-part is really too long to read. (We have ~2000 files in de, 
which should be multiplied with the lenth of this senseless "info" -> 
that's the overhead)
