Hehe :) This is not a new idea. We already discussed to add an ini.xml and a config.xml to extensions reference dirs with the respective ini setting descriptions and config parameters (compile time). Just noone had the time to do this, as the constants.xml consolidation is also on the way. Having too much inconsistency is not the way to go, so it would be better to first end the constants.xml files modifications, and the start with ini.xml and/or config.xml. I may have more time to work with this next month, as I won't have lessons at the University... Goba
