I would not consider anything newer than about 18 months old as "quite old". As a general rule, we only upgrade our major items of software once per year (during the summer vacation!), and even then only if necessary -- so in July/August we will be upgrading from 4.0.5 to (probably) 4.2.x. Over the next couple of months, I will be reading through the entire changelog for all versions since 4.0.5 and editing scripts accordingly -- and any undocumented changes in those versions are, for me, a potential timebomb. I know we are not alone in this sort of upgrade schedule, so I would not regard any version released in the last 18 months as old enough not to do this sort of retrospective fixing. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-06-10 18:29:06] [EMAIL PROTECTED] Having it in the manual is enough. This is, on the other hand, mentioned in the strtok() documentation page.
