 PHP Version: 4.3.0
 New Comment:

Good idea Philip. Dear Surak, we are not going to "document" other
software not included in the PHP distribution. As Philip suggested,
there probably will be some links to free alternatives, but the PHP
documentation won't include documentation for those...

I feel we should do a little research and come up with a bunch of free
alternatives, create a faq, and link to this faq in pdf/reference.xml

Wouldn't be more interesting that the FREE versions would be
documented, rather the paid ones? We already have two :-)

FYI, there is another free PDF class that can be found at
http://www.fpdf.org/

I think it would look better as a user-note =\

But let's just see what others think about this ;)

The only pdf functions contained on php's manual are, not only hard to
install sometimes, but also paid, and none of them are free (on of the
great advantages of php). There is the free pdf classes found at
http://www.ros.co.nz/pdf/ . Wouldn't be interesting that this one also
could be found on documentation? It's where all of us come for finding
this stuff...
