The sybase_fetch_assoc() exists in sybase-ct extension only.
The documentation is a bit confusing though.

mssql_fetch_assoc has been added to PHP with version 4.2.1 according to
www.php.net

However, when porting code to linux this function seems to be missing,
most probably there is no function sybase_fetch_assoc.
