Thanks Philip. georg: BTW is there a way to changte the default charset for the connection? AFAIK we have no counterpart of mysql_client_encoding() atm. Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2003-06-08 11:11:54] [EMAIL PROTECTED] Already done :) This will show up when the manual is next built. http://cvs.php.net/cvs.php/phpdoc/en/reference/mysql/configure.xml ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2003-06-08 10:56:28] [EMAIL PROTECTED] Then there should be a note on this issue, as long as we bundle libmysql with the package. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2003-06-08 07:23:14] [EMAIL PROTECTED] If you need other charsets than latin (default), you have to install external libmysql with compiled charset support. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2003-06-04 23:34:59] [EMAIL PROTECTED] reclassified as MySQL problem. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2003-06-04 19:59:42] vitalichka at mail dot ru We are talking about PHP (PHP), not MySQL (another product, or I am mistaking?), and I do not know why PHP should refer to ANY of MySQL resources. No, there is no such file in that location. Moreover - thare is no such location. And moreover - there is no any setting in PHP that refers to that location. And even moreover I'm not going to setup MySQL in that location until problem is solved completely.
