Two weeks ago I made some changes in pg_fetch_all(). The downloadable manual shows the changes but the online documentation still displays the old version. How?
The downloadable CHM version is updated weekly, the viewable 10-monthly or something. I'll build it on my own box and just replace the one online with mine.
Cornelia, you can check the last creation time on downloadable versions on the downloads page (there is a link at the left, which shows all the file data without you needing to hover on the links). And you can also check the last build time of online manuals at the index.
http://php.net/manual/en shows that the last english manual was built on May 30. The downloadable versions for english are:
html.bz2 Date: 19 Apr 2003 tar.bz2 Date: 19 Apr 2003 pdf.bz2 Date: 3 Jun 2003 doc.pdb Date: 19 Apr 2003 isilo.pdb Date: 2 Nov 2002 chm Date: 13 Jul 2003
You see that the versions generated by Derick are the latest. The others are far behind. Currently there is only automatic generation of the CHM versions done on Derick's machine. All the other vesions are generated 'by hand', ocassionaly. This is due to resource problems. A solution for these problems are on the way (Livedocs).
