I was wondering why we don't have karma based on language ? This will help avoiding wrong commits. Can't we ask every team (of translators) to send a list of its members so that we can update CVSROOT/avail ?
Sometimes I found errors in english and french revisions and, since I know those languages, I could make small corrections. Also, I had some of my italian translations corrected from german and english guys who found bugs in XML and syntax. So I'd prefer to leave the karmas as they are now.
This is the main reason Karma are not restricted to translation modules. We do encourage translators to fix up English text as they find problems. This is how I got hooked up in the phpdoc work initially :)
