Since #php.doc on EFNet is pretty dead, a few PHP Documentation Members decided to create a new channel, #phpdoc on Freenode (irc.freenode.net). There are some goals behind this (re)birth :
- Coordinate efforts :
You may have followed the commits lately, there was an effort made on the codings standards (still in work btw), we have started a war against the exampleless parts of the manual.. this was a little bit coordinated on #phpdoc.
- Help new commers :
It may be helpful for them to have a direct discussion with old members of the team at the begining
- Discuss manual issues (notes included) : * new notes system * discuss notes to integrate to the manual * documenting PHP5 [..]
- Try to understand rioter when he's drunk
