As we discussed it on the last docmeeting, since many of the PECL packages will be distributed with PHP itself, PECL docs are to go to the regular PHP documentation (since many of the PECL extensions have docs there). We already have translation support, and many infrastructural elements, which is not a good point to multiply. We are going to implement utilities with which readers can choose a subset of the manual, so unused PECL extensions will not get to their face... That said, there was no official "PECL documentation guy" on the docmeeting, however Wez was there, and he seemed to agree... :) This will also help elevate the importance of PECL extensions and provide better support for people using them... If nobody is against, this would be a good time to start integrate the PECL stuff into the PHP manual :) Any volunteers? Goba
