function.array-search
In french you writte :

$array = array(0 => "bleu", 1 => "rouge", 2 => "vert", 3 =>
"rouge");
$key = array_search($array, "vert"); // $key = 2;
$key = array_search($array, "rouge"); // $key = 1;
?>
It's right in english
<?php
$array = array(0 => 'blue', 1 => 'red', 2 => 'green', 3 =>
'red');
$key = array_search('green', $array); // $key = 2;
$key = array_search('red', $array); // $key = 1;
