Hi Matt,

Yes the manual maintainers woul like to know about this on some other way (not the user notes), and as the user note page explains, we welcome documentation bug reports. Please go to bugs.php.net and submit your bug report there.

Thanks for helping us making the documentation better,
Gabor Hojtsy

Hi,

I've been using the documentation for curl_getinfo at http://www.php.net/curl_getinfo . There is an incorrect item in the many body of the documentation for that function; it's minor, but it cost me ten minutes wondering what on earth I was doing wrong.

The error is in the section, '

If called without the optional parameter opt an associative array is returned with the following array elements'

The third element name down, 'http_encode' should read 'http_code'.

I've tested this and here's a print_r of part of the result:

Array
(
   [url] => http://www.plus.net
   [content_type] => text/html
   [http_code] => 200
   [header_size] => 442

I was going to post a note, but since I thought notes were for extra detail / usage suggestions etc, and that since this is a mistake rather than just a shortcoming, that perhaps the manual editors would prefer to know about it some other way.

Hope this is helpful, and sorry if I should have just posted a Note.

Matt Saunders.
