 New Comment:

UPLOAD_ERR_NO_TMP_DIR == 6. It's documented only in XML sources so far,
you have to wait until the next manual build as written in 31000.

The solution to bug 31000 says that UPLOAD_ERR_NO_TMP_DIR was added to
document on December 6th. I still can't see it in the docs, but
nonetheless, bug 31000 is about error code number 5 in PHP5, not error
code number 6 in PHP4.

Please do not submit the same bug more than once. An existing
bug report already describes this very problem. Even if you feel
that your issue is somewhat different, the resolution is likely
to be the same.

Thank you for your interest in PHP.

Same as 31000.

Description:
------------
hello, i'm uploading files through a form and things have been working
fine in the past, but recently i have begun to get the error code '6',
which is undocumented in the PHP manual.

Array
(
    [name] => Brigitte-Normal.pfa /*small font file*/
    [type] =>
    [tmp_name] =>
    [error] => 6
    [size] => 0
)

Reproduce code:
---------------
the above output is being produced by this code:

die(print_r($file));

where $file is an element of the superglobal $_FILES obtained with:

foreach($_FILES as $label => $file)
{
    /*... FILE HANDLING CODE ...*/
}

Expected result:
----------------
The expected result would obviously be one of the documented error
codes (0 - 4)

Actual result:
--------------
The actual result is an error code '6', which is undocumented.
