I've just tried openjade/opensp with cygwin and all work fine. No problem with paths in file-entities.ent now
Huh, so what might be David's problem?
I don't know: may he should install some additional cygwin libraries? Usually if cygdrive contains installed programs which are need in additional libraries next time when cygwin setup.exe starts in it's window of partial installations these libraries are checked by default.
