Hi, I've not been active for the last few months due to heavy workload within my company. But now I've got some spare time again so I'm going to try and do what I'd planned originally - the PHP doc quick setup guide for Windows. I've built a new PC in this time so I've no longer got all the tools I need to work on the phpdoc sources so I thought it would be a good opportunity for me to document the process in detail for http://doc.php.net/php/dochowto
On another note, I wanted to run an idea past everyone. I've had a couple of friends ask me for help getting PHP/Apache/MySQL setup on their Windows PCs because they said the PHP manual was confusing. So I though it might be a good idea to write a short quick step by step setup guide for Windows/Apache2/MySQL4/PHP5. Is this something that could be put into the manual with references to the existing pages for specific configuration? i.e. the guide would cover the basics of install and then point the user to other pages for the rest? -- Regards, David Mytton http://www.olate.co.uk
