Ok, I was wondering if this was still true because Nuno said :

"We don't advise users to copy files to the windows directory anymore.
Users should add the PHP dir to the path, as is explained in

info? " http://news.php.net/php.doc/969371458

So :) ?

So? Where's the problem? Nuno says "We don't advise users to copy files to the windows
directory anymore"; the other bit you quoted says "Copying files into the Windows system
directory has long since been deprecated". Those two statements seem to be in accord to me.

Cheers!
