Description:
------------
At http://us2.php.net/pcre it says "Since PHP 4.0.4, you can also use
Perl-style (), {}, [], and <> matching delimiters....Beginning with PHP
4.2.0 these functions are enabled by default."

It sounds like Perl-style matching delimiters are available in PHP
4.0.4, but might not be enabled by default, and it doesn't say how to
enable them.
