 PHP Version: Irrelevant
 New Comment:

Knowing the future is good and will help developers plan for
these bright times ahead. Hiding these facts would be less
useful.

You'll find this is the main viewpoint of the manual team, one
I doubt will ever change.

I don't say it's a real annoyance, but I think it would be more logical
to hide this extra parameter if not available in current release
(php5.1.4) of php as it will mislead people.

The code that will (in part) become PHP 6 can be retrieved from CVS.

Description:
------------
stream_context_create simply tell it :

http://fr.php.net/manual/en/function.stream-context-create.php

"Note: The params argument was added to PHP 6.0.0."

Yes, you read it : it was added in php6.0.0 while php6.0.0 does not
even exists.

At this point, I have some explanations :

1. The US Governement lied us (even if I'm european, and whorse:
french); they hide the truth about php6.0 since a long time ago (well,
at least since one year)

2. The extraterrestian come out to made this

3. Obi Wan Kenobi

Expected result:
----------------
It should be PHP5.0, not 6.0
