Hi.

Dozy bugger here.

The extended CHM build process is (more or less) ...

cvs up phpdoc
cd phpdoc
autoconf
configure ....
make test
make test_xml
make chm_xsl
cd htmlhelp
wget mirrors.inc and all.bz2
unzip all.bz2
make_chm.bat
cd release
zip to create the .ZIP archive

This is working fine so far and takes just over an hour with the newer
phpbook xsl stuff from Hannes.

Due to the recent bugs with the standard CHM build, I would like a
little nudge as to what the build process for this is. I've no problem
building and testing patches as they appear (Hannes supplies, I test and
commit).

Alternatively, if the standard build process is not repairable, could
the extended CHM be used instead?

With me NOT being a make expert and there being MANY rules in the
makefile, some really minor documentation would be useful - just to say
if the rule is active or even to comment out the inactive ones.
Something to stop me having to guess. Oh. I use Cygwin on Windows XP to
do all of this, so Windows is my native platform.

Sorry for being a dunce, but hey, I'm standing on the shoulders of
giants and the view is pretty darn good from up here!

Richard Quadling.
